Hopkins Endurance Fifth Wheel Wiring Harness Installation - 2015 Ram 1500- Video
Hi, everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install this Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Wiring Harness on our 2015 Ram 1500. So this is going to be an in-bed solution for our 7-way wiring plug on our Ram 1500. So if we're towing a gooseneck or a 5th wheel trailer, we can have all of the proper signals and functions of that wiring in the bed. This is gonna come with 10 feet of wire, so plenty to get you from the bumper where your 7-way is up inside the bed of your truck. Now, it will require drilling a small hole in the bed of your truck, but that part's really not too bad, because the rest of it is just a plug and play connection, so it's really straightforward. more

Hopkins 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket Installation - 2022 Ram 1500- Video
What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to check it out, this Hopkins four pole and seven pole connector replacement plug on our 2022 Ram 1500. They have covers on there that are actually springs, so they close on their own. You don't have to worry about leaving them open, or them wearing out over time. You get a nice diagram on the outside to let you know what tabs to test. If there are any issues opening up, you can see it's recessed back in there. more

So this is going to be a replacement for the connections that you guys have from the factory right here. But we are going to have some mounting options in the box. You're going to find the replacement right here, but we do have options. We can either replace this one here in that position. more

Fifth Wheel and Gooseneck Wiring Harness Installation - 2014 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2014 Ram, we're going to be installing Draw-Tite's 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Wiring Harness. This wiring harness is going to allow us to plug our fifth-wheel or gooseneck right into the back of our truck bed here. In most cases, your fifth-wheel or gooseneck wiring's not going to be long enough off your trailer to drape over the back of the truck and plug in where your factory seven-way connector is. By relocating it up here, it allows you to have all that necessary wiring without an extension plugged right into your bed, quick and easy. This is not only going to make towing easier for you, it's going to make it faster, so you can savor those moments and enjoy more time out on the road.This connector is going to give you all of the same connections that your factory seven-way connector will give you. This includes your left turn signals, right turn signal, tail lamps, brake lamps, your brake signal for your braking system, your charge line, as well as your reverse circuit. more

Speaker 1: . Endurance 5th wheel gooseneck 90-degree wiring harness with seven-pole plug, part number 41157. This is what our seven-pole plug looks like mounted on the bed of our truck. This is going to give us the proper functions for any trailer that we're pulling. It's going to give us, not only our running lights, our each turn signal, brake lights, and our ground. It's also going to provide us with reverse, and wiring for a brake controller.It's going to be a nice durable plastic. more

EZ Connector Magnetic 7-Way Trailer Connectors Installation - 2012 Ram 1500- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2012 Ram 1500 we're going to be installing the EZ Connector Magnetic T-Connector with 7-Way Trailer Connector, part number 319-R7-06. If you'd like to pick it up as a kit with the trailer end, you can use part number 319-R7-02. To help us out with the install, we're going to be using the Tow Ready No-Drill Mount Short Bracket, part number 18140.Upgrade the factory 7-way on your Ram to the magnetic EZ Connector. This is going to allow you to maintain the use of your original 4-pole connection, and original 7-way connection while adding the ability to use the EZ Connector. Because it allows you to maintain your factory connections, you can tow trailers with either the EZ Connector or standard connections. It's a face to face connection, so there are no pins or blades to be broken.It's very simple to install. more
